BioThis is me, my journal, my life. It is about me. What I write here is about me and my life. It is not about you. You are welcome to read, comment, agree, disagree....but in the end, these words are a virtual representation of who I am, as honest and open as I know how to be.
So who am I? I am Pagan, Polyamorous, Bi-Sexual, Confident (most of the time), a minister, a writer, a poet, a teacher, a student....and much more...
I am who I am and I make no apologies for being so. I made a promise to myself when I first started communicating via this journal, a promise to boldly cast aside the masks and illusions I have dressed in all my life, and make the attempt to be nakedly honest here. I talk in this journal about all aspects of my life, from parenting to sex parties, from ministry to school work, from family and friends to politics (well...maybe not politics...I'm not that political), music, books, television and movies, and deep, inner thoughts that will probably tell you more about the person I am than you ever needed to know....that's what this is about.
Its a complex world, and I'm trying to uncomplicate my life, by just being who I am...
Sometimes dull, sometimes silly...always me. I occasionally create new words and appropriate them from others. I've been described as "unabashed" and "painfully honest" at times. And, it may not seem like it, but I don't really post everything there is to know about me here...just the bits I think of at the time.
It occurs to me, that as you navigate through the insanity that is my life, it might help to know who some of the players are. To that end, I offer you:
The Cast of Characters Populating my daily existence
David - The Brother...younger, by just over 4 years. He's a good guy, father of two little younglings, Manager of a Red Lobster in Stockton, football junkie and co-founder of Fredism.
Cheryl - The Sister-in-Law...Manager of a Famous Dave's BBQ, due to open here in Tracy in March 2008...married to The Brother, mother of the two younglings.
Kara - Youngling #1, currently 12 years old, reading the Warriors and Fell, very into cats and wolves, a tender soul crippled with ADHD which is being treated with meds as well as training to help her recognize when the symptoms are getting made and how to mitigate them.
Tyler - Youngling #2, just turned 9 on Jan. 27, 08...sports fanatic, like his father, only more able to change his allegiance from sport to sport, video game commando (kicks my butt every time), already exhibiting some very pre-pubescent behaviors.
Mom - Not suprisingly, this would be my mother...she of the witty repartee and the wicked sense of humor, my companion to broadway shows and ballet, as well as any number of concerts over the years...slowly adjusting to the notion that her daughter is a witch.
Bob - The Mother's husband...pretty good guy, handy with the tools and the computer repair...geologist by trade...he treats her good, so that means a lot.
Dad - Again with the not suprising, this would be my Father...who I really abused as a teenager when I entered my dark days of emotional instability and religious fundamentalism...but who I get along with now, for the most part...
Julie - The Father's Wife...she laughs at my jokes, even when they're lame, manages to never act shocked at the things I say or do, even though I know sometimes she is...if she had never married my father, I doubt we would have been friends, but since they seem happy together, I'm okay with that...

Oh...and keep an eye on the website listed above...it gets updated infrequently with fascinating and wonderous things...or more of me...which may or may not be wonderous...I'll let you, my loverly reader, decide...
